The Carmelite presence in the country of El Salvador is strong and active. Our Province of the Most Pure Heart of Mary in El Salvador works continually to improve the lives of their parishioners and the community at large around San Salvador.
Currently, many families are struggling due to COVID-19 without jobs or savings to cushion them. The Carmelites are sharing with the needy families of El Salvador in this time of the pandemic.

The Hernández family receives some bicycles as a donation for their little children. Father Luis Jesús and Father Benjamin delivered the bicycles, which were a donation from a parishioner.

In this photo Fr. Benjamin is visiting Mrs. Lucia and her children Teresa and Esteban. Mrs. Lucia is quite ill and lives in a marginal neightborhood of San Salvador. They are very poor and no one visits them. The food Fr. Benjamin brought was greatly appreciated.
