PILGRIMAGE DAY
St. Thérése, the Little Flower, is the most popular and most beloved saint of modern times. In fact, Pope Pius XI called her just that: “The Greatest Saint of Modern Times”. More recently, the late Pope John Paul II declared her the newest and youngest Doctor of the Church.
Mount Carmel has the privilege of being the home of the Canadian Shrine of St. Thérése. The Carmelites here at the Monastery invite you to come on pilgrimage with a parish or community group to learn more about her life and her spirituality. The simplicity of her “Little Way” is a much needed message for our complicated lives. The Little Flower has a powerful teach for all of us.
