Prayer Intentions

St. Thérèse hears our requests and intercedes with God on our behalf. She showers us with roses every day, and we continue to be blessed and have prayers answered because of the intercession of our “little flower.”

Opening Prayer

St. Thérèse, beloved friend, we come before you in our need. We believe that you listen to us and approach God for and with us. Please accept these petitions, hopes, needs, and dreams I list below. Please present them to our Loving Father so that God may do what is best for us, for our loved ones, and for the fulfillment of God’s Kingdom. We ask you, dear friend, with the bold confidence and loving surrender you taught us. We make these prayerful petitions in the name of Jesus and through the power of His Spirit.

We come to you today with heavy hearts, lifting up those we love who are navigating the challenges of their senior years. We ask for Your healing hand and comforting presence to rest upon my mother-in-law, my uncle, and my mother. As they face the trials of sickness and the uncertainty of hospital stays, grant them relief from pain, clarity of mind, and a deep sense of peace that transcends their physical struggles.

We also pray for the caregivers—the daughters, sons, and family members who are gracefully juggling the demands of their own lives to be a pillar of support. Lord, sustain them when they are weary. Grant them the patience to provide care, the wisdom to make difficult decisions, and the emotional strength to carry this beautiful but heavy burden.

May they feel Your presence in the quiet moments of the hospital room and find renewed energy in their devotion. Surround this entire family with Your grace, reminding them that they do not walk this path alone.
