Opening Prayer

Jesus, it is almost unbelievable. My heart leaps! You are a flower that just blossomed! An empty tomb – You live! God has conquered all our darkness, even death, as He raises You to life. We are no longer condemned to empty tombs of darkness nor destructive whirlwinds of violence and sin. Heavy confining stones are rolled away. Light permeates darkness! You are the God of life. You live and we are free. Continue to rise to life in us, Lord Jesus. Help us to believe in the breathless power of Your resurrection!

St. Therese, in 1888 your dream and call came true and you entered the Carmelite monastery.  Help us to be patient and confident as we respond to Your voice calling us into the garden of our truth.
