Opening Prayer
We are so excited that Your divine favor has embraced us, as You embraced Christ. You are the only explanation for the suffering and travails we experience. You are refining us so that You will shine in us, through us, and beyond us! What great hope You place in us – You create us in Your image and empower us to be holy as You are! We are thrilled with Your promise of salvation. But even more than wanting a reward, we believe that this is the way You created us and how we are most human – most like You, Holy God! Continue to gently refine, polish and make us shine!
