Opening Prayer

Jesus, sometimes I need to be like Thomas. I want proof of your presence. I want to touch you and feel the wounds. I’m sorry for my unbelief, but sometimes it is just very difficult to believe that you are and care and are present. Help my unbelief! Thank you for including me among the living stones of the new Temple you are creating. Thank you for dwelling within me and among us. Thank you for making us holy. Please let me see your constructive and uplifting presence around me. When I see the wounds, hurts and holes of peoples’ lives, help me believe that I am touching your risen presence. Work your wholeness and healing among us, Rising Lord, and don’t let my lack of faith limit you!
