Opening Prayer

Gentle God, it is so good to ride on the yoke of Your shepherd shoulders. You make the way smoother and life easier. You are so strong as you level paths and open roadways. You are powerfully beyond us and yet deep within. In labor, we experience You breaking out in our world. With maternal labor pains, You are born in our human journey and carry us to new heights where our soul can sing a new song of life. Life is never heavy with You within, among and beyond us. Everything seems lighter because I sit on the yoke of Your shepherd shoulders. Life seems more trusting and joyful from here. Thank you!
