Opening Prayer
God of Justice, Your truth embarrasses our deceitfulness and reveals our pettiness! Why do we love to condemn others? Why do we lie to avoid our responsibility and accountability? Does our lack of honesty and zeal to judge frustrate and irritate You? We have such adulterous hearts which allow negativity to flirt with and embrace our spirits. Continue to write your law of love in our hearts and in the holy ground of our lives! Touch the duplicity of our minds, hearts and tongues. Disarm the stones we are so ready to hurl at each other. Especially free and heal women who are abused by the verbal, physical or silent violence of men or the deceit of others.
