Opening Prayer

Faithful God of Abraham, God of Jesus, God of my life today, continue to embrace us in covenant. You are the truth bigger than human generation. You are the source of our being. You are our origin, even when we don’t acknowledge You. “In You we live and move and have our being!” Help us to possess and tend the holy land of our lives, and make it blossom. As You flood us with Your faithfulness, make us more fertile than Abraham. Make us parents of many offspring, loyal to You and born of Your Spirit. Empower us to multiply the power of Your message and the uplifting presence of Your Spirit to all people – to the ends and depth of the human experience. Purify us of illegitimate desires which prevent us with recognizing Jesus and walking with him today.
