Opening Prayer
Healing and Generous God, Your reign is at hand. By Your presence already within us, You touch those in need and heal our hurts and wounds. You desire the fullness of life for each of us and all of us, here and forever. You satiate our desires and stretch our dreams. The tears of disillusionment and the weeping of broken hearts will dry up in the flood of Your generosity and embrace of Your love. Your reign is the gift of life in all its fullness, free of limitations and emptiness which kills. Like St. Nicholas, the giver of gifts, You are the great Giver of Gifts, and You ask us to give what we have been given. Hasten Your reign–teach us to listen to Your whispers, and walk in Your ways.
