Opening Prayer
Gracious Giver of all Goodness, like Esther we are grateful for Your history with us and Your choice of us. Continue to be our friend and helper, especially in times of trial and travail. Give us the trust to ask and the persistence to keep knocking at the door of Your heart. Help us not to lose faith. We are people of immediate gratification, instant answers and little patience. We lose faith so easily. Give us just a shadow of Your steadfastness. Breathe in us faith to believe again in Your gracious generosity and tender love. Help us today to be as generous in action and judgment towards others as You are toward us.
