Opening Prayer

Jesus, You are so gentle and strong. One minute You are like a tractor, plowing through all mountains and obstacles we have created to open a highway to God. At the same time, You are a gentle mother, holding us tenderly. I love the soothing embrace of Your womb and Your arms. You give me strength and courage. I know You are from God and of God, Jesus. In the womb of Your existence, I feel as connected with God as You are. What a gift of life! Thank You for never forgetting me, even as I suffer amnesia so often about who and where You are. You are awesome, gentle and strong, Jesus.
