Opening Prayer

Ever-present God, You ask us to be alert to the times and ways You come and speak to us.  Purify our distracted hearts that we can watch for and listen to You – and respond quickly and without second-guessing.  Pour forth Your Wisdom so that I can discern Your actions and presence as the Creative One of our universe.  Sensitize my spirit to feel Your fingerprints on the experiences of my life.  Clear our hearts and focus our vision that we might seek to know You more in every aspect of creation which my senses connect with today.  I know that You are here – I promise not to play “hide and seek” with You today!
