Opening Prayer

Healing Jesus, I’d like to think that I’d be the one who returned to say thanks, even though I don’t consider myself a Samaritan. But I’m aware of how much of your blessings and healings I’ve taken for granted. Increase my sensitivity to the subtle and powerful ways you touch, heal and uplift me. Humble me to seek your wholeness in the leprous sores of my life. Just as your early followers were transformed, please transform and permeate me by the power and passion of Your Gospel. I need to be reborn and renewed. “Have pity on me, Jesus, Master!”
