Opening Prayer
You are the rising Sun, dawning in the deepest recesses of our human experience. You know us better that we know ourselves, because You have created us in Your image. Your glory, spoken in our creation, and Your Word, resonating through us, has transformed everything into light. Cure our self-created blindness. Give us the sight of faith to see Your splendor dawning, even when we experience darkness. Empower us not to fear Your transforming truth as Your splendor shines within and among us. Make us children of light, instead of night creatures who seek and create darkness for each other and ourselves. I want to see, Lord Jesus!
