Opening Prayer
Holy God, Your presence is awesome and engaging. All Israel hailed Your Ark when brought to Your Jerusalem Temple. It was the sign of Your Divine Presence dwelling among them. Jesus is Your new Ark. In his presence today, he is the sign of Your Divine Presence dwelling among us. We are made holy by Your Presence. You have made us the Temple of Your Presence. You transform and heal, touching our ills, hurts, weaknesses, divisions, and needs. Even when the clouds descend on us, we believe that You are with us – You dwell within, among and around us. You, Holy God, are the all embracing One. Thank you!
