Opening Prayer
Wonderful God, we are waiting for the return of Jesus – the new heavens and new earth where Your justice will be established. Keep us open to see and experience You in all the present and future ways Jesus comes to us and breaks out in our world. Purify our expectations, our vision, and our hearts. Help us honestly discern what is Caesar’s and what is Yours. We are pulled by the world in which You have planted us and the Spirit You have planted within us. Empower us with patience, purity and peace. Give us the wisdom of Jesus that we can live good lives and help create Your transforming reign in our world today.
