Opening Prayer

Your fingerprints are gentle and firm on the clay of my life, Potter and Artist. You are molding me and all creation into a masterpiece of beauty. You are creating Your earthen vessel of justice, harmony, goodness, and peace as the cup for all to drink from. Continue to gather, mix and knead the disparate and confusing parts of us. Discard what is not malleable to the gentle touch of Your divine fingertips. Melt and moisten the hard clay and make us responsive to the artistic massage of Your hands. Your creative touch feels good, Holy Potter, Divine Artist!
