Opening Prayer
Lord, Jesus, You are Wonder Bread and Messianic Wine! You are food for our journey, even as you are our journey and our destination. Thank you for not simply sharing thoughts, ideas, values and encouragement. You share Yourself. This bread is Your Body and this wine is Your Life-Blood. You are our life-source! As we celebrate this blessed Sacrament of Your presence, we are grateful for the way it transforms us and transubstantiates our reality as living sacraments of Your presence in our world. With great reverence we acknowledge that You connect us as One Body and as blood sisters and brothers with each other in You. You are the divine leaven of our lives and the fermenting wine of the Kingdom. Thank you for being our food, our energy, our life-source!
