Opening Prayer
God of life, we belong to You forever. You watch how I use every moment and breath of life You gift me with. You are only a breath away! You are awesome and intimate! The way You shepherd me is humbling. When I stray or am lost, You always come after me. You are the relentless Hound of Heaven – ever the caring Shepherd and diligent Housewife. When I am most lost, You seem to intensify Your shepherding search. Thank you for continuing to believe that I am precious enough for You to pursue. It is such a relief to know that I will never be that lost or that worthless that You will not come after, find and carry me home on Your shoulders to be gathered among Your treasures.
