Opening Prayer

Jesus, walking through the Book of Revelation is like watching a horror movie. I hope that heaven is a more peaceful place than the struggles and strange phenomena. InSpirit me to live in hope, especially amid confusing times and conflicting emotions. Dress my heart to be like an expectant spouse awaiting the Beloved! In times of doubt, teach me the lesson of the trees – the quiet sleep which is not death, followed by the budding dawn of renewed life. Sensitize me to feel Your Breath around me, as Your reign is breaking out and Your kingdom is being born.
