Opening Prayer

Why do You make it all so difficult? Your message is a real challenge and demands divine discipline? No wonder so few find the way, and often we feel like dogs or swine! We need Your help to treat others the way that we want them to treat us. You make it sound so simple, yet it is demanding! Like Abram and Lot, we get into family disputes and inter-tangling space. Please be the God of our genetic origin and our history, as well as the God of peace. Teach us ways of respectful reconciliation and peace which reflects justice in the way we deal with family members these days. Give us wisdom to set proper boundaries and appropriate compromise.
