Opening Prayer

God of Wisdom, You nourish the deepest longings of the human spirit. Fill us with understanding of ourselves, of each other, of You and Your mysterious ways. Free us from ignorance which tunnels our vision, limits us and strangles our heart, leading us into strange and destructive behaviors. Be our bread of life. Be our wine of life. We believe in your sacramental presence in our Eucharist. You truly give us Your flesh and blood to transform and feed us. Your dream will never die because we are fed by You. Your reign will happen because You are the food for the journey. You are the nourishing God, and we are grateful. Thank you for so believing in and trusting us that You give us Your Body and Blood. Keep us faithful to You.
