Opening Prayer

Jesus, sometimes we so miss the point. We try to understand, explore and conquer the universe within and beyond, and yet we miss the point of Your creative power and truth. Why are we so blind and stupid sometimes? We get so caught up in our needs and desires to protect our individuality that we destroy the unity of Your Body. You and Your peace are our binding force of unity. Yet without thinking, we sometimes separate, dissect, and destroy, because we lack humility, meekness, patience and understanding love. Continue to be the Lord of our Life today, Jesus. Connect us again with Your unifying Spirit – the disparate parts within us and around us, especially the parts we have disconnected from because of our darkness. Be the eternal dawn and unifying light for us!
