Opening Prayer

Father, You do make us Your family. The depths of who we are – our history, heritage and identity is in Christ. He works in us in ways beyond our human imagination. Please don’t let me limit it by trying to totally understand it. I’m humbled! I’m honored! May His love permeate every aspect of who we are, transforming all darkness and limits into light and fullness. Continue to re-ignite your fire within and among us. Keep us faithful when we are misunderstood. Help us not to be the ones who divide, demean or destroy! May your fire be light, warmth and uplifting passion in us!
