Opening Prayer
Lord Jesus, like Paul, we are grateful that you have saved us. In humility, help us to appreciate your amazing grace. Pour forth your wisdom that we might know what might have been if it were not for your saving love and transforming presence. Walk with us, Brother Jesus, that we might honestly know ourselves in truth, and not throw stones, knowing how fragile we are and that we live in glass houses. Clear our cataracts and warped vision that we might see your presence and glory in the people and experiences of our lives today. Help us to look with compassion, respect, and reverence at all our sisters and brothers in your human family.
