Opening Prayer

God of Justice, we are so caught up in a world of legalities and lawsuits. When offended, we so quickly sue and try to get what we can. We have defined justice by our needs and hurts, and shrunk it around ourselves. We need to be justified again by a dose of Your Spirit, so that we treat each other with respect and work our disagreements with trust. Free us, because we are such prisoners of our needs, drives, hurts and fears. As You called Your apostles, call us again to follow You and preach Your message, not our needs. InSpirit us with power to change this world and ourselves in the justice of Your reign. Heal all the diseases which shrink and deaden any part of our body, mind, spirit and relationships.
